Repost - Celebrating Seven Years of Faith Davis Massage & Yoga!

When I started my massage practice I had no idea what would happen. Would it be a success? A failure? Would I even enjoy being a full time massage therapist? It’s hard to believe it’s already been seven years and I’m happy to report that I love it just as much (possibly even more) than the day I opened my doors!

As I celebrate seven years in practice, I am also announcing raising my rates (for only the second time since I opened). While many of you have experienced some of the changes this is a great opportunity for me to share with you the top five reasons why my rates will increase September 1st:

Experience. Every year I spend over 1000 hours with my hands on you - my clients! This translates to increased clinical experience, deeper knowledge of the human body, and technique refinement.

Continuing Education. Since my last rate increase in 2013 I have completed approximately 100 hours of continuing education including ethics, research, earth-centered healing, and continuing education in maternity massage.

Commitment to maintaining the highest industry professional standards. This includes being a Colorado Licensed Massage Therapist, a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and sustaining my National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Expertise. One of my areas of expertise is maternity massage. I’ve continued to round out my knowledge of this area and my offerings with over 1000 hours teaching prenatal, postnatal, and family yoga and serving as a postpartum doula for almost 30 families.

Industry average. I did a survey of rates in Boulder county for other individual massage therapists with similar education and experience and found my rates were lower than the average. These new rates put me more in-line with local rates (although still lower! I continue to believe massage should be an accessible part of our health care).

Thank you for all your support over the years!!! I hold myself to high standards as my commitment to continuing to serve as your massage therapist for therapeutics massage, relaxation massage, and sometimes just some wonderful pampering!

I am always open to hearing your thoughts and feedback about your experience, both what you love and what you want to change.
